Start with the frontage, not just the logo

Send a straight-on photograph and a view from each approach, along with approximate dimensions. Note the wall material, existing signs, neighbouring businesses and any potential obstructions. These details help establish a readable layout and practical mounting approach.

Daylight and after-dark visibility

If evening visibility matters, compare illuminated letters with a lightbox. Consider contrast, scale and the surrounding lighting rather than brightness alone. If the business is seen mainly from along a footpath, a blade sign may complement the main fascia.

Approvals and installation

Check the requirements for the particular site before commissioning production. Confirm who is responsible for permissions, access, fixings and any electrical work in the project scope. Freight and installation arrangements should be agreed for the destination rather than assumed.
